The short answer is YES. If you create a Business Page from within your personal account none of the personal details are assigned to it so there is no risk of the two sections of your life getting mixed up. That said some people just do not want their personal profile anywhere near their Business Page and that's OK too!
To create a Business Page independent of any existing profile you have at the
moment you will need access to a different email from the one you used to sign up for Facebook in the first place. We recommend using a business email that you are happy to have as a public email (say firstname.lastname@example.org) but even that's not a problem as you get to set a 'viewable' email address within your Facebook Business Page which can be different again.
So here's how to do it.
Go to Facebook and create a new account
Sign up with your Business Email
Complete your name and date of birth
Agree to Facebook Terms & Conditions
You now have a blank Personal Profile.
Leave it Blank and choose to Create a Business Page
That's it. Done!
